Top Travel Trends in 2010

The holidays next year will be to a great extent affected by the economic recession most countries suffered this year. That however does not mean that people will not go on holiday, but that instead they will be more careful with how and on what they spend their money. Holiday makers will spend more time searching for great deals, such as exploring new travel destinations to find the best bargains and joining Online Travel Agencies (OTA) to gain good discounts. Below are some of the predicted top travel trends for the year 2010.

1 - Looking for budget options

Economical holidays will the key deciding factor this year, with holiday makers searching out the best budget details and discounts. Make sure when you plan your holiday this year, not to just go for what looks like the best rate, but hunt deeper for complementary give-aways, such as a free night's stay on a multiple night stay, gift cards, spa credits, coupons and free dining etc.

2 - Eco Travel

Humans are slowly but steadily becoming more aware of their impact on nature. Think 'green' is the trend these days, with its effects being felt even by the travel industry. Most travelers look for eco friendly holiday options, holidays that cause minimum damage to nature. Eco travel was born out of this need and is a continuing trend for 2010.

3- Mixing business with pleasure

The world is always on the go, with most travelers finding it more economical and viable to mix business with pleasure. Nowadays business travelers look for accommodation options that cater to all their business needs while providing leisure activities as well, so they can enjoy the best of both worlds.

4 - Latin adventure

Latin America is finding itself growing more and more popular with travelers as a luxury travel destination.

5 - Train Travel

Rail travel in Europe has grown popular, as this is an economical way of traveling while enjoying the wonderful scenery on the way. This has become even more popular with the new high speed rail links into Spain and Italy.

6- Going Mobile

With the growth of mobile applications and capabilities, it is now even easier to plan your travels, such as tracking flight information and planning itineraries. Mobile phones now play a very important role for travelers in helping them with their travel planning. They are used to receive information from travel agents etc and are fast proving to be invaluable to travelers.

7 - One platform for travel plans

With the busy schedules most of us have, it is easier to have one central platform from which to plan your travel details. This way you can keep track of everything happening in the travel industry, be up to date on the latest happenings and not just make one off purchases. The Internet offers strong travel centric sites where such central services are offered, so that people can plan every aspect of their travels, from creating the trip, to searching for accommodation, getting advice about the intended trip, finding the best deals down to updating profiles so as to keep friends and family informed.

8 - Adventure Travel

The year 2010 will find people looking for holidays with more action. Most now look beyond the standard and look for adventure such as jumping out helicopters, skiing, safaris, bungee jumping as well as more personalized holidays with private tours of museums and art galleries. For the more adventurous a growing trend is to take a high-speed car tour around major cities!

9 - Seeking out new hotspots

As with everything in this world trends change. As travelers expand their travel horizons, China, India and the Gulf States find themselves growing into the latest hotspots. This trend will grow more in 2010 as travel to the ever popular European destinations at the moment for most, is not economical. So traveling to China, India and the Gulf States gives the traveler an exotic holiday while being easy on the purse, with favorable exchange rates and low travel costs.

AWZ - Episode 968 - Deniz & Roman (English Subtitles)

Episode 968: We are gutted about Marc leaving. Absolutely gutted. To be honest, we didn't expect to adore Marc quite as much as we did. We were excited about the storyline and knew the second we saw Timo act that we had a winner, but then he started being all vulnerable and wearing his fucking heart on his sleeve and being the best underdog ever, and... yeah, *CRUNCH* He's gambled so high and is losing so dearly. The sheer overwhelming power of his love for this person he knows he should just put out of his head and heart forever totally broke us, especially his willingness to say, "I know you don't love me like I love you, but that's okay, just let me be with you and that's enough for me..." And to see that in an otherwise strong, smart, savvy individual just underscores how very much he cares for Roman. So, yeah, in conclusion... we love Marc. (You may have noticed this. We may have been vocal about it.) We have ever since he strode onto the screen smirking and checking Deniz top to bottom, all "Hello there, pretty thing." We loved his giddy expression of scared but happy surprise when he pulled that cab around and decided to stay, for better or worse. We loved him for falling back in love with Roman, and falling hard (because hello, what sane person wouldn't!) We loved him for risking everything on the off-chance that Roman might choose him, even though it wasn't morally kosher, even though all the odds were against him. We loved him for being stubborn and sticking ...

Camry6's HONDA ATC 750 MSX 1st Test Condensed and Edited Short Film

This is a condensed video that has all of the action clips 1 through 9, edited and produced into a "Short Film". It is the first test of Camry6's HONDA ATC 750 MSX in Newfoundland Canada. We all agreed to keep the throttle limited to around 1/4 throttle for safety. All of these runs were done using 1st and 2nd gear. This machine is built primarily from a 1975 HONDA CB 750K motorcycle. I used parts from a 1982 HONDA ATC 200, and a 1985 HONDA ATC 200M. It took me 6 weeks, 7 hours per day, 5 days per week to build. I did this during a short lay-off period from work. March 2010 to May 2010. I needed something to keep me busy! I thought of this project about 2 years earlier, but never had the time to invest. It has a 67 HP, inline 4 cylinder SOHC, 4 carburetor engine. It has a 5 speed transmission. It has a potential top speed of 100 MPH (160 KPH). It does not have reverse. It does have a kick-starter. It is chain driven. It has a twist throttle. It has a manual clutch. It has 7 " of suspension travel in the rear on 16" Forsa coil-over shocks. It has the standard ATC 200M 1.5" of suspension travel in the front, with auxilliary coil-over shocks to support the extra weight. The machine weighs 600 LBs and has a weight to power ratio of 9 LBs per HP. It has 25x13-9 Cheng Shin C828 LumberJack tires on the rear and a Cheng Shin 25x12-9 C866 tire on the front. This machine is registered with the MRD as a home built ATV-It is a totally legal off-road vehicle. It is also legal to carry ...

Top 5 Winter Getaways in 2007

When summer is over and winter starts showing its ugly face most people dream of taking a vacation to somewhere warm and beautiful. Winter getaways are fantastic because they allow tourists to recharge their batteries and do something that will help get them over the winter blues. One of the best ideas for the winter blues is a trip to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico. There are so many different Cabo San Lucas vacation rentals available that you can find something that is just right for you and that works with your budget as well. It may take you some time and searching but the Internet can help you find the perfect Cabo San Lucas resort for your winter vacation.

Another great place to visit is Cancun. It is also in Mexico, just on the other side and it offers white sand beaches with clear blue water. Who wouldn't want to escape the cold of winter for Cancun, Mexico?

Winter getaways to the Bahamas are also popular. That's because the Bahamas are really close to the United States so trips can be made quickly and affordably. Not to mention the islands are gorgeous and the island air is just what you need to relax and enjoy your 2007 winter getaway.

The Florida Keys are also popular during the winter and will likely continue to be during the winter of 2007. That's because the Keys are south enough to experience beautiful weather all year round. That means you can lie out on the beach or swim in the ocean.

New York City is another great winter getaway. Of course, it is cold here but it offers outstanding shopping, dining, and the arts. You will probably need a heavy coat but there are so many things to see and do in New York City that you will want to make time for a visit.

There are of course many other destinations that are outstanding for 2007. So, you should ask around and see if anyone has ever been to one of the locations on this list. Find out the details of each place and compare them to what you are looking for to see where you want to spend your vacation. If there are other places you would like to visit feel free so. These are just some popular destinations for those on vacation alone, with family, or even honeymooning!

Top 10 Travel Tips For Central America

1.    Travel light - Take the minimum you can get away with. Backpacking in this region will involve a lot of getting on and off buses as well as walking long distances whilst carrying luggage.

2.    Take the bus - Buses are by far the cheapest and most efficient way to get around the region. Avoid chicken buses if you are pushed for time as they tend to stop very frequently. The quickest cheapest buses tend to be from one capital city to the next.

3.    Limit your time in expensive places - Costa Rica, Mexico and Belize are relatively expensive in comparison to other countries in the region such as Nicaragua and Guatemala.

4.    Avoid the cities - The highlights of the region tend to be away from the cities. Spend more of your time at the beach, rainforests and ancient ruins as these are far more interesting than the urban areas.

5.    Visit Semuc Champey - This relatively unknown spot is simply unmissable. When you see it you will understand why; you are sure to be entranced by its fairytale-like freshwater pools and waterfalls.

6.    Learn to dive - the Bay Islands of Honduras are a great place to learn SCUBA diving and enjoy the regions coral reefs up close.

7.    Get a guide - If you are planning to see wildlife, take a guided tour of the rainforests. This will help you to see far more than you would alone.

8.    Eat local - Local food is the cheapest and you will soon learn to enjoy Gallo Pinto, the region's favourite dish. This is a combination of beans and rice that is surprisingly tasty and ubiquitous throughout Central America.

9.    Visit some ruins - Central America is home to some of the worlds most fascinating ancient sites. Particularly good are the Mayan ruins of Tikal in Guatemala and Chichen Itza in Mexico. If you have the time you can take a 5 day trek and visit the largest pyramid (by volume) in the world, El Mirador in northern Guatemala. This ancient site is only accessible by mule track or helicopter but is well worth a visit.

10.    Don't forget your travel insurance!

Top 5 Baby Travel Systems 2010

The Top 5 Baby Travel Systems for 2010 have a nice mix of much looked-for features for safety, convenience and comfort for little ones. One also might be surprised at the fact that a majority of these strollers are priced in a range for those who might be on a tighter budget.

For those shopping for a baby stroller travel system this year, here are some choices to give a check to:

1. Chicco Cortina KeyFit Travel System - This particular stroller system is also among one of the most popular of baby strollers - period. It bears on average extremely high consumer rankings and has some unique features such as a "memory" on the position of the last recline for baby so it can easily be found again. The KeyFit 30 car seat will safely accommodate a baby up to 30 pounds, which is quite a bit higher in terms of weight allowed for the average car seat. Retail price for the KeyFit runs around $330 - $350 (depending on the exact model chosen), but is available online from some merchants for as low as about $300 or less.

2. Graco Quattro Tour System - Again, this stroller in itself is among one of the hottest selling around. It comes with the famous SnugRide car seat that is so well known as a favorite among parents. The stroller for this system will accommodate a little one up to 50 pounds. Retail price for the Quattro Tour Travel System is around $270 - $280 and is available from some top merchants for a markdown price online.

3. Graco Alano Flip It Travel System - The single feature that stands out the most for this stroller travel system is the fact that it allows for reversing the baby's position while in the stroller, making it possible for a baby to face forward or back toward parents. This feature in itself is becoming more and more popular with parents since it makes it much easier to keep an eye on little ones, especially those infant age. Retail price for the Flip It system is around $200 and can at times be found online for a lower price.

4. Peg Perego Switch System - Like the Alano "Flip It", the Switch Travel System from Peg Perego allows for reversing the position of babies while taking a stroll. It also is available in some gorgeous rich colors and is quite stylish! The Peg Perego name in general is known not only for excellent safety but also for extreme comfort and style while taking strolls with little ones. Retail price for the Switch System from Peg Perego is around $670, but most definitely can be found for a lower price - sometimes more than $100 less.

5. Graco Alano System - Differentiated from the "Flip It", this system still bears the name "Alano" and comes complete with the famous SnugRide car seat that will accommodate a baby up to 22 pounds, and the much loved Alano stroller. Full retail price for this system is around $210 and again it can rather easily be found for less from some merchants online.

For those who happen to be shopping for great baby products that have all the features most parents and babies need, one of the Top 5 Baby Travel Systems listed above are a good place to look first, and generally speaking one doesn't have to "break the bank" to buy one.

On Booking Your Travel Online

The proliferation of online commerce and transactions has made possible various services to be made available online. This also includes booking cruise vacations which has become one of the most popular trends in the field of 'dream vacations.' However, there are obvious pitfalls for booking your cruise vacation so if you want to protect yourself against any potential problems, ask yourself these questions:

1. Does the price that is posted online the actual or total cost that you will pay? A lot of travel agencies, or any other establishments for that matter, that post very cheap and affordable prices online only to find out that there are hidden fees like port charges, service fees and some charges for your documents to be mailed. It is important that you know the actual fees before you sign up for any cruise so that you will not be flabbergasted when your credit card bill arrives.

2. Will you pay a bigger deposit with the online company than what is actually required by the cruise line? Some cruise/travel agencies co-mingle their funds and they put additional charges on top of the deposit that is required by the cruise lines. Some sees this as an acceptable practice, however, there should be some fixed limit on how much these agencies can charge for the deposit.

3. Will the agency or cruise liner provide a specialist that will answer all of my questions? A lot of online travel agencies do not provide a live person who will be personally answering all of your questions. Most agencies only provide email addresses and a phone number to call. Some does not even have any contact details! Emails may not be immediately answered which may eventually result to you boarding the cruise ship with still a lot of questions in your mind.

4. Are you aware that when you book your cruise online, you are practically renouncing your legal rights, if in any case, something goes wrong? A lot of people do not read the fine print but if you are among the elite few that does, you will realize that the prints are not as attractive as it is. These documents are practically disclaimers that tell you that the travel company or agency will not be responsible or liable for any problems or difficulties that you will encounter with your cruise or booking. Here's how it is easily understood: if the cruise does not push through, then the company is not liable and you are to sort the problem on your own. If the travel/cruise agency, for some strange reason, books you on the wrong ship or cruise, then you are also entirely on your own to settle the problem.

5. Do you trust the company or agency that you are transacting with? It is important that the company that you will choose is one that is reliable and trustworthy enough that they will not compromise your personal information and sell these to identity theft criminals. There are even instances when employees of these online establishments uses their client's personal data like credit card numbers for their own advantage and to perpetrate their identity theft activities.

Senior Travel - Top 5 US Entertainment Destinations

The U.S. has dozens of entertaining options for senior travel destinations. Whether you're active, have special needs, or in search of a destination that's fun for the whole family, there's something out there for you within America's borders. This list covers a few of the top entertainment destinations for senior travel out there, ranging from the ever-popular shows and museums in Branson to breathtaking views of nature in some of America's best national parks. It's never too late to explore the beauty and wonder that the U.S. has to offer, so why not start planning your trip now?

1. Branson, Missouri

Branson is arguably America's top travel destination for seniors. With more than 50 music and movie theaters and more than 10 championship golf courses, Branson boasts entertainment options for just about everyone. If you're taking grandkids with you, go in the warmer months-they'll enjoy the city's water parks and water rides. Museum highlights include Dick Clark's American Bandstand museum (featuring classic cars and other nostalgic exhibits), a Hollywood Wax Museum, the Titanic Museum, and a museum filled with antique toys. If you're active, Branson is a great place to walk around-there are tons of attractions to catch your attention, and the town is small enough to seem quaint and friendly.

2. Jersey Shore

Spend your vacation on the boardwalk and the beach at any of New Jersey's towns on the shore. Hotels can eat away a lot of the costs of a trip to the beach, but Ocean City and other Jersey towns have a wide selection of vacation rentals that you can snag for a fraction of a hotel's cost. Lots of rentals are fully equipped with kitchens, too, so if you have special dietary needs, you can prepare your own food as needed. The sand and sun in Jersey is a perfect getaway for seniors who love to relax and hear the waves lapping in the distance. Jersey Shore definitely makes our list of the top senior travel destinations.

3. Your Local National Park

That's right! Lace up your hiking boots and pack your camping stove, because national parks have senior discounts that are too good to pass up. Traveling to a national park is a great way to take a meaningful vacation that you'll be able to remember even without any kitschy souvenirs. If you want gentle exercise, walk and hike the trails that the U.S.'s many parks have to offer.

4. Portland, Oregon

Portland is a fantastic place for active, progressive seniors to visit. The city has miles upon miles of public bike lanes, and its other public transportation, ranging from buses to the light rail, is top-notch. Visiting seniors should bring umbrellas, as the city gets a lot of rain, but its temperate climate means that almost any time of year will make for a great visit. Sometimes called "The City of Roses," Portland is known for its photogenic neighborhoods with beautiful rose gardens. Parks and open spaces are easy to find, so this city is very accommodating for seniors who enjoy relaxing walks and sightseeing.

5. Alaska

America's largest state may also be one of its most seldom visited, but that shouldn't be the case for seniors. No matter what you like, you'll be able to find a place in Alaska that caters to you. There's almost no state better for hunting, fishing, and other nature-oriented activities, and Alaska's cities boast interesting shops and some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Alaska should be on everyone's list as one of the top senior travel destinations.

Top List of DROID Apps For Travelers (Part 2)

Just in case you missed the first installment of our DROID Travel Apps here are even more great travel apps that you can browse to see if there are any that may be helpful to you in your travels. Happy trails....

Our Suggested Best DROID Travel Apps (Part 2)

TripIt-- You can always keep track of your flights and their status and other arrangements using this convenient DROID app. View itinerary information right from your DROID for all your trips even if you don't have a computer. You can go from the itinerary and link to other interests you may have including shopping, hotels, restaurants, and plenty more. At the tap of a finger, you can even get maps to go straight to those locations on your phone too. With the TripIT DROID application you won't ever be late again.

WeatherBug Elite-- This weather app for Android tries its best to deliver a slightly more personalized version of weather to its users. You can view local or national weather forecasts with animated radar capabilities that can offer additional layers of information on particular area weather patterns. You can also view different weather cameras time lapse footage to see how the weather over a period of time went. Obviously the WeatherBug Elite app for DROID lets you see the temperature and whether it's going to rain or snow or whatever, but it gives you a few other options that many other weather apps just don't.

Waze-- A traffic based social media app would describe the Waze DROID app. With this app you can check out the traffic information on an area and add your own personalized info regarding it as well. Let people know where road work is occurring, or speed traps are, slow traffic, or anything that is causing a traffic delay. Don't type and drive or you may cause an accident yourself, but you could update someone on the traffic spot that you were not alerted to. That way they don't have the same misfortune and can just use the Waze apps built in map to make their way around it. You can even take a picture of the traffic event or place and upload it.

Flight Stats-- Stay informed of your flight information while travelling the easy way with the FlightStats DROID App. Get info on multiple different airports globally with website, contact information, and your itinerary given to you in real time. Just in case you may need it, there is even an option for direct access to departure and arrival gates and times so that you won't have to worry about being late for a flight again...

Places Directory-- There is nothing surprising about what the Places Directory Android app is. It is a directory with all types of different categories(restaurants, bars, hotels, motels, movie theaters, banks and atm's, etc.) that you can search that are located nearby you. The Places Directory app for DROID can also allow you to see distance, directions via Google maps to locations, and even photo's and ratings for places you see in the listings. If you want to know a little more than you already do about your area or one you visit, use the Places Directory DROID app to "read all about it".

Celeste SE-- This celestial app for Android is a visual tracking system for our solar system. You can interact with this DROID app by using your phone's camera to point an area in the sky and then Celeste SE uses your phone's GPS to then bring up an overlay of impressive 3D graphics of planets and relevant facts about the areas that you view. There are plenty of options available to help you customize your star and planet gazing experience with the Celeste SE app for DROID.

There may be more DROID Travel apps out there, but by far these are some of the very best. Hopefully you were able to find one that will make all of your own travels very safe, entertaining, and educational. May all your travels be filled with good times and adventure!

Mexico Guadalajara Travel: Impressions of Tlaquepaque & Tonala

Mexico, particularly the historic, colonial heartland of this country, continues to fascinate me. It is also the perfect winter getaway for sun-starved Canadians, and I thought another visit to Mexico was in order. So on February 3, 2010 I arrived in the pouring rain in Guadalajara, the nations 2nd largest city. Fortunately the weather cleared up the next day and I was able to check out the scenic downtown of Tlaquepaque as well as the arts and crafts market of Tonala, both located in the southern part of Guadalajara. On a luxury Internet-equipped bus I headed to my first weekend excursion from February 5 to 7 to Guanajuato, a gorgeous silver mining town and UNESCO World Heritage Site about 4 hours from Guadalajara. My gracious hosts Sujei and Roberto showed me around their city for 2.5 days: from the silver mine La Valenciana with its magnificent baroque church, to the unique street tunnels that connect the city underground, the El Pipila monument overlooking Guanajuato's colourful houses, to the estudiantina - a walking night-time concert through the scenic alleyways of Guanajuato, the gorgeous little squares with their bars and restaurants to the rather scary Mummies Museum - Guanajuato is a real treasure. I even went mountain-biking in the sierra above Guanajuato and enjoyed the sweeping views over the Mexican mountainscape. I spent February 8 to 12 back in Guadalajara, more exactly in Tlaquepaque where I studied Spanish at the Guadalajara Language Center every ...

2009 Formula D Round 1 - Long Beach

falkentire.com Music: Beyond Paranoia by Jon Dal LONG BEACH, CA The inaugural event in the 2009 Formula Drift season began on the famed street course of Long Beach where Team Falken faced a very competitive field of works drivers and privateers and successfully qualified eight cars in the top 32 tandem competition, a new component to Formula D this season. This is the 4th year Formula Drift has competed on the tough track that was previously the domain of open wheel racing. However, the increasing popularity of drifting, especially in Southern California, has prompted its addition to the track for a dedicated weekend. It also was the perfect location for Team Falken to debut its new team which consists of veteran member Vaughn Gittin, Jr., driving his brand new 2010 Ford Mustang; Daijiro Yoshihara in his Discount Tire Lexus IS350; Tyler McQuarrie with his Nissan 350Z Convertible; Calvin Wan, competing in a Nissan S15 Silvia; and Darren McNamara, returning in his Sears Auto Center Saturn Sky. Considering four out of our five team vehicles are completely new builds to our team, we had a very successful first showing, declared Nick Fousekis, Senior Consumer Marketing Manager, Falken Tire. This accomplishment truly is a testament to our drivers skill, our vehicle builders capabilities, the Azenis RT615s performance and Falkens dedication to the sport of drifting. After the final session, overall standings had Gittin, Jr., tied for 6th; McNamara stood in 10th; Yoshihara ...

Argentina Vacation - Top 5 Argentinean Travel Destinations

Argentina is a country of huge geographical, environmental and cultural diversity. It stretches from the icy tip of Patagonia in the south up to the subtropical rain forests around Iguazu and out west to the dry wind-eroded moonscapes of Salta province. Not forgetting of course the exuberant metropolis of Buenos Aires; the fertile valleys and vineyards of Mendoza; the chocolate box scenery of Bariloche and the Lake District or the wetland wildlife of Estero de Ibera and the Chaco.

1) Perito Moreno Glacier: this is the most captivating glacier in a national park full of glaciers and understandably called Parque National Los Glaciares. There are higher longer glaciers in the park, but it is Perito Moreno that draws the crowds. And crowds there are in the summer months. Perito Moreno is one of very few glaciers in the world that is still advancing, at a rate of about 20 metres per year. From the boardwalks that lead out and along the front of the glacier you can appreciate it's enormity and energy. It cracks and rumbles as chunks of ice carve off into the icy water. From 1000s of years of compression the ice has a sublime blue glow as if coming from an internal light.

2) Iguazu: a more abrupt contrast to the glaciers of the south would be hard to imagine. Iguazu is hot, humid, buzzing with tropical wildlife and drenched in spay from the most powerful waterfalls on the planet. Iguazu is multi-sensory overload of colour, thundering sound and the never-ending rushing of an impossible amount of water going past you.

3) Ruta de los Siete Lagos: the route of the seven lakes winds through beautiful forested valleys and past crystal clear lakes between Bariloche and San Martin. This is a classic trip that can be done as a self-drive or and organised tour with a guide. The panorama is a harmonious spectrum of blues and greens and peaks and valleys that are easy on the eye and reminiscent of a fairly-tale illustration.

4) Esteros de Ibera: a huge area of wetland comprising swamps, lakes, rivers and floating islands, this is one of the best places in Argentina to see some very diverse wildlife. Besides the 300 bird species there are Maned Wolves, Caymans, Marsh Deer, Boas, Howler Monkeys and Capybaras. The best way to get around here is by boat with a good local guide.

5) Mendoza and Vineyards: Mendoza is the closest city to Aconcagua, the highest peak on the American continent. Many climbers go to Mendoza to conquer Aconcagua and other giant peaks in the region, but you don't need to be a serious climber to appreciate the great outdoors activities around this picturesque part of the Andes. There is rafting in the Canon de Atuel, world class skiing at Las Lenas and huge scope for hiking and mountain biking in the surrounding valleys. Mendoza is also at the heart of Argentina's wine industry which has seen massive investment recently resulting in continually improving quality wines. There are dozens of wineries in and around the city that you can visit and where you can taste the Argentina's best wines.

Very bad at bifold tasking with a rotary cutter.

I need to add annotations to this with exact dates and whatnot. Will do tomorrow. Just a short video that's meant to be informational. It's not particularly informational. Nor is it short. Woops. In my defense, I lost a lot of my footage somehow, so that's why I never actually say bye or anything. And I look like crap, but I guess that's my fault. One thing I meant to say in the video: Leave me a comment asking me a random question. I want to do a Q&A video. This will be a test to see who reads the comments. :3 And also feel free to ask me anything about any of the cons. Mileage Plus - One of the Top 7 Frequent Flyer Programs

Why Mileage Plus is a great program for your next trip? Why you need to apply for a frequent flyer program and how United Airlines flight can be your next all time cheapest flight? These are common questions on any travel planning list, if you are looking for the opportunity to travel more and pay less.

In travel market loyalty/reward programs are very common marketing method to attract more travelers and to create loyal customers. As an old habit, travelers like to stick with one airline, especially the baby boomers. However, on the condition that you are a member of a good frequent flyer program, there is nothing wrong with it.

I have reviewed Mileage Plus program, and it is a good choice for your future trips. Firstly, the United Airlines operates in a domestic and international market. Together with its Star Alliance members (they count for your reward program as well) it covers 19 700 daily departure to 1077 airports in 175 countries. This means that most likely you can fly to your next destinations and use the United frequent flyer program.

Secondly, you need to apply for a frequent flyer program, even if you do not plan to make a flight for the next nine months or so. Usually travelers apply for the program, when they listen to the advertisement in the plane or by reading the magazines in the pocket of airplane seat.

By doing so you lose great opportunities to make your first flight as a rewarded flight. You need to apply for the airline reward program at least nine months before your planned departure date.

Almost each reward program, including Mileage Plus, has partnership agreements with a different kind of not travel related companies. And United Airlines have a huge list of them.

You can obtain frequent flyer miles by purchasing products and services from 500+ retailers. You can earn miles by applying to new credit card. You can earn miles by dining in your favorite restaurants, cafes and bars. You can earn miles by subscription to magazines and newspapers. You can earn miles by answering the questions in surveys. And there are even more opportunities, when you will start to follow them.

As usually in life, there is no such thing as something for nothing. Therefore, in order to earn rewarded flight you need to follow the programs offers, and you need to use it daily. However, you can make it as your habit, and you will see that this is the easiest way to cheap flight. To learn more about Mileage Plus frequent flyer program, follow the steps below.
