Top List of DROID Apps For Travelers (Part 2)

Just in case you missed the first installment of our DROID Travel Apps here are even more great travel apps that you can browse to see if there are any that may be helpful to you in your travels. Happy trails....

Our Suggested Best DROID Travel Apps (Part 2)

TripIt-- You can always keep track of your flights and their status and other arrangements using this convenient DROID app. View itinerary information right from your DROID for all your trips even if you don't have a computer. You can go from the itinerary and link to other interests you may have including shopping, hotels, restaurants, and plenty more. At the tap of a finger, you can even get maps to go straight to those locations on your phone too. With the TripIT DROID application you won't ever be late again.

WeatherBug Elite-- This weather app for Android tries its best to deliver a slightly more personalized version of weather to its users. You can view local or national weather forecasts with animated radar capabilities that can offer additional layers of information on particular area weather patterns. You can also view different weather cameras time lapse footage to see how the weather over a period of time went. Obviously the WeatherBug Elite app for DROID lets you see the temperature and whether it's going to rain or snow or whatever, but it gives you a few other options that many other weather apps just don't.

Waze-- A traffic based social media app would describe the Waze DROID app. With this app you can check out the traffic information on an area and add your own personalized info regarding it as well. Let people know where road work is occurring, or speed traps are, slow traffic, or anything that is causing a traffic delay. Don't type and drive or you may cause an accident yourself, but you could update someone on the traffic spot that you were not alerted to. That way they don't have the same misfortune and can just use the Waze apps built in map to make their way around it. You can even take a picture of the traffic event or place and upload it.

Flight Stats-- Stay informed of your flight information while travelling the easy way with the FlightStats DROID App. Get info on multiple different airports globally with website, contact information, and your itinerary given to you in real time. Just in case you may need it, there is even an option for direct access to departure and arrival gates and times so that you won't have to worry about being late for a flight again...

Places Directory-- There is nothing surprising about what the Places Directory Android app is. It is a directory with all types of different categories(restaurants, bars, hotels, motels, movie theaters, banks and atm's, etc.) that you can search that are located nearby you. The Places Directory app for DROID can also allow you to see distance, directions via Google maps to locations, and even photo's and ratings for places you see in the listings. If you want to know a little more than you already do about your area or one you visit, use the Places Directory DROID app to "read all about it".

Celeste SE-- This celestial app for Android is a visual tracking system for our solar system. You can interact with this DROID app by using your phone's camera to point an area in the sky and then Celeste SE uses your phone's GPS to then bring up an overlay of impressive 3D graphics of planets and relevant facts about the areas that you view. There are plenty of options available to help you customize your star and planet gazing experience with the Celeste SE app for DROID.

There may be more DROID Travel apps out there, but by far these are some of the very best. Hopefully you were able to find one that will make all of your own travels very safe, entertaining, and educational. May all your travels be filled with good times and adventure!

Mexico Guadalajara Travel: Impressions of Tlaquepaque & Tonala

Mexico, particularly the historic, colonial heartland of this country, continues to fascinate me. It is also the perfect winter getaway for sun-starved Canadians, and I thought another visit to Mexico was in order. So on February 3, 2010 I arrived in the pouring rain in Guadalajara, the nations 2nd largest city. Fortunately the weather cleared up the next day and I was able to check out the scenic downtown of Tlaquepaque as well as the arts and crafts market of Tonala, both located in the southern part of Guadalajara. On a luxury Internet-equipped bus I headed to my first weekend excursion from February 5 to 7 to Guanajuato, a gorgeous silver mining town and UNESCO World Heritage Site about 4 hours from Guadalajara. My gracious hosts Sujei and Roberto showed me around their city for 2.5 days: from the silver mine La Valenciana with its magnificent baroque church, to the unique street tunnels that connect the city underground, the El Pipila monument overlooking Guanajuato's colourful houses, to the estudiantina - a walking night-time concert through the scenic alleyways of Guanajuato, the gorgeous little squares with their bars and restaurants to the rather scary Mummies Museum - Guanajuato is a real treasure. I even went mountain-biking in the sierra above Guanajuato and enjoyed the sweeping views over the Mexican mountainscape. I spent February 8 to 12 back in Guadalajara, more exactly in Tlaquepaque where I studied Spanish at the Guadalajara Language Center every ...

2009 Formula D Round 1 - Long Beach

falkentire.com Music: Beyond Paranoia by Jon Dal LONG BEACH, CA The inaugural event in the 2009 Formula Drift season began on the famed street course of Long Beach where Team Falken faced a very competitive field of works drivers and privateers and successfully qualified eight cars in the top 32 tandem competition, a new component to Formula D this season. This is the 4th year Formula Drift has competed on the tough track that was previously the domain of open wheel racing. However, the increasing popularity of drifting, especially in Southern California, has prompted its addition to the track for a dedicated weekend. It also was the perfect location for Team Falken to debut its new team which consists of veteran member Vaughn Gittin, Jr., driving his brand new 2010 Ford Mustang; Daijiro Yoshihara in his Discount Tire Lexus IS350; Tyler McQuarrie with his Nissan 350Z Convertible; Calvin Wan, competing in a Nissan S15 Silvia; and Darren McNamara, returning in his Sears Auto Center Saturn Sky. Considering four out of our five team vehicles are completely new builds to our team, we had a very successful first showing, declared Nick Fousekis, Senior Consumer Marketing Manager, Falken Tire. This accomplishment truly is a testament to our drivers skill, our vehicle builders capabilities, the Azenis RT615s performance and Falkens dedication to the sport of drifting. After the final session, overall standings had Gittin, Jr., tied for 6th; McNamara stood in 10th; Yoshihara ...

Argentina Vacation - Top 5 Argentinean Travel Destinations

Argentina is a country of huge geographical, environmental and cultural diversity. It stretches from the icy tip of Patagonia in the south up to the subtropical rain forests around Iguazu and out west to the dry wind-eroded moonscapes of Salta province. Not forgetting of course the exuberant metropolis of Buenos Aires; the fertile valleys and vineyards of Mendoza; the chocolate box scenery of Bariloche and the Lake District or the wetland wildlife of Estero de Ibera and the Chaco.

1) Perito Moreno Glacier: this is the most captivating glacier in a national park full of glaciers and understandably called Parque National Los Glaciares. There are higher longer glaciers in the park, but it is Perito Moreno that draws the crowds. And crowds there are in the summer months. Perito Moreno is one of very few glaciers in the world that is still advancing, at a rate of about 20 metres per year. From the boardwalks that lead out and along the front of the glacier you can appreciate it's enormity and energy. It cracks and rumbles as chunks of ice carve off into the icy water. From 1000s of years of compression the ice has a sublime blue glow as if coming from an internal light.

2) Iguazu: a more abrupt contrast to the glaciers of the south would be hard to imagine. Iguazu is hot, humid, buzzing with tropical wildlife and drenched in spay from the most powerful waterfalls on the planet. Iguazu is multi-sensory overload of colour, thundering sound and the never-ending rushing of an impossible amount of water going past you.

3) Ruta de los Siete Lagos: the route of the seven lakes winds through beautiful forested valleys and past crystal clear lakes between Bariloche and San Martin. This is a classic trip that can be done as a self-drive or and organised tour with a guide. The panorama is a harmonious spectrum of blues and greens and peaks and valleys that are easy on the eye and reminiscent of a fairly-tale illustration.

4) Esteros de Ibera: a huge area of wetland comprising swamps, lakes, rivers and floating islands, this is one of the best places in Argentina to see some very diverse wildlife. Besides the 300 bird species there are Maned Wolves, Caymans, Marsh Deer, Boas, Howler Monkeys and Capybaras. The best way to get around here is by boat with a good local guide.

5) Mendoza and Vineyards: Mendoza is the closest city to Aconcagua, the highest peak on the American continent. Many climbers go to Mendoza to conquer Aconcagua and other giant peaks in the region, but you don't need to be a serious climber to appreciate the great outdoors activities around this picturesque part of the Andes. There is rafting in the Canon de Atuel, world class skiing at Las Lenas and huge scope for hiking and mountain biking in the surrounding valleys. Mendoza is also at the heart of Argentina's wine industry which has seen massive investment recently resulting in continually improving quality wines. There are dozens of wineries in and around the city that you can visit and where you can taste the Argentina's best wines.

Very bad at bifold tasking with a rotary cutter.

I need to add annotations to this with exact dates and whatnot. Will do tomorrow. Just a short video that's meant to be informational. It's not particularly informational. Nor is it short. Woops. In my defense, I lost a lot of my footage somehow, so that's why I never actually say bye or anything. And I look like crap, but I guess that's my fault. One thing I meant to say in the video: Leave me a comment asking me a random question. I want to do a Q&A video. This will be a test to see who reads the comments. :3 And also feel free to ask me anything about any of the cons. Thankyah luvvies :3 subscribe rate comment enjoy new (actually good) video in a few days! Mileage Plus - One of the Top 7 Frequent Flyer Programs

Why Mileage Plus is a great program for your next trip? Why you need to apply for a frequent flyer program and how United Airlines flight can be your next all time cheapest flight? These are common questions on any travel planning list, if you are looking for the opportunity to travel more and pay less.

In travel market loyalty/reward programs are very common marketing method to attract more travelers and to create loyal customers. As an old habit, travelers like to stick with one airline, especially the baby boomers. However, on the condition that you are a member of a good frequent flyer program, there is nothing wrong with it.

I have reviewed Mileage Plus program, and it is a good choice for your future trips. Firstly, the United Airlines operates in a domestic and international market. Together with its Star Alliance members (they count for your reward program as well) it covers 19 700 daily departure to 1077 airports in 175 countries. This means that most likely you can fly to your next destinations and use the United frequent flyer program.

Secondly, you need to apply for a frequent flyer program, even if you do not plan to make a flight for the next nine months or so. Usually travelers apply for the program, when they listen to the advertisement in the plane or by reading the magazines in the pocket of airplane seat.

By doing so you lose great opportunities to make your first flight as a rewarded flight. You need to apply for the airline reward program at least nine months before your planned departure date.

Almost each reward program, including Mileage Plus, has partnership agreements with a different kind of not travel related companies. And United Airlines have a huge list of them.

You can obtain frequent flyer miles by purchasing products and services from 500+ retailers. You can earn miles by applying to new credit card. You can earn miles by dining in your favorite restaurants, cafes and bars. You can earn miles by subscription to magazines and newspapers. You can earn miles by answering the questions in surveys. And there are even more opportunities, when you will start to follow them.

As usually in life, there is no such thing as something for nothing. Therefore, in order to earn rewarded flight you need to follow the programs offers, and you need to use it daily. However, you can make it as your habit, and you will see that this is the easiest way to cheap flight. To learn more about Mileage Plus frequent flyer program, follow the steps below.
