Top 10 List of Must Have Motorhome Accessories

When it comes to going on a trip, it doesn't hurt to bring along some of these motorhome accessories to make your trip all that more enjoyable. After you have got through this list, you will realize that you probably should have some of this stuff along with you.

1. LCD TV's

Even though you are going out and about, it is always nice to have some digital entertainment to bring along.

2. Awnings & Extra Rooms

These will create an extra room that is outside the motorhome, there are a bunch of different ranges for them, anywhere from a simple over hanging, to a complex room that could be classified as a living room, or dining room.

3. Motorhome Safe Dishes

You'll want something that is not easily broken, because there is a lot of jerking around when it comes to driving a motorhome, at least when your in the city anyways.

4. Mattresses

Anything from standard foam, to memory foam, to even air mattresses, the choice is yours.

5. Outdoor Furniture

This is used to lounge around outside the motorhome when you are parked on the grounds. Make sure to get something comfy, as this might be where you spend most of your time.

6. Toilets

There are a bunch of different kinds of toilets, sure, there is usually one already attached inside, but it doesn't hurt to have a back up, just in case your main one breaks down.

7. Electrical equipment
These are things like: extra lighting, microwaves, toasters, etc

8. Solar Panels

Instead of putting wear on your internal electrical systems, and if you are traveling in the summer, then why not hook up some solar panels for energy, it might cut some costs down for you.

9. Bike Racks

Unless you want to walk or drive everywhere, you had better have a bike rack to bring your bikes with you, This is one of the most bought items when it comes to motorhomes, you always see bikes on the back of coaches all the time.

10. Cooking Equipment

Yes, you already have your stove inside, but what is the fun in that. Why not get some camping stove to cook outside, it'll almost be like a BBQ, and actually you can bring one of those too.

Now that you have read this list, you understand that there are a few things you might just be missing. Sure some of these are luxuries, and you might not NEED them per say, but they would make the trip that much more enjoyable if you did have them.

While planning a trip, it is very important to pack some travel accessories, so that you can enjoy a comfortable and secure journey.

Travel guide map
Always carry a guide map along with you so that its easy to locate the destination you are looking for. Guide map makes your trip comfortable and you can easily find out the way to the place you want to visit.

Cameras
Cameras counts to be one of the important accessories, included in your traveling kit. Sweet memories can only be cherished with the photos that has been captured in your camera. Treasure the unforgettable moments spent with your loved ones, in snaps and videos.

Money belt
Money is one of the important essentials to be kept safely. When you carry lots of cash, care must be taken that it is kept somewhere inaccessible to pickpockets. The best place to store your valuables stuff is money belt. Belt is worn inside the clothes, so that its not visible and your money is saved from pick pockets.

Sleeping sacks
Sleeping sacks needs to be carried when traveling in sleeper class of Indian trains. If you want to have a sound sleep, hide yourself in cocoon (sleeping sacks) where you can snore, hide valuables and use as a barrier to the worldly disturbances.

Books and gadgets
While traveling, sometimes you feel bore, stuck at one place. Enjoy your journey in company of some interesting books or carry gadgets like iPod, MP3 players etc. to listen to your favorite tracks and doesn't get annoyed with unwanted sounds.

Binoculars
Advanced equipments like Binoculars are designed in such a way that it doesn't occupy much space in your traveling kit. With the help of binoculars, you can see the far away attractions using maximum zoom and have a close encounter with interesting things.

Travel first aid kit
Always carry first aid box, you never know when it comes in need. Unfortunately, if you meet some small accidents and get minor injuries, the kit is very helpful in such a condition.

Flashlight
Power cut in some areas is very frequent. So it is highly recommended to carry flashlights or small battery torch.

Eatables and water bottle
Though snacks and other eatables are easily available, but it would better if you carry some kind of snacks like biscuits, wafers, chocolates etc. especially when you are traveling with kids. Water bottles should be always with you, because sometimes due to dehydration you will very thirsty and need lot of water.

Always carry sanitizer kit along with you as 'health is wealth' and to stay healthy its important to stay hygienic.
