After his schooling, he ran an antique shop, where he grew to appreciate the treasures that passed through his hands. He played the church organs at Albert Hall and St. Paul's Cathedral; while at home, he created dreamy compositions at his piano and synthesizer. Although Rowland does seem to include a few more orchestral voices such as flutes and oboes, his themes are not as melodic and easy-tofollow as on his previous albums. The harmonies are slightly discordant, and Rowland's themes wander without the sophistication to make a full emotional statements.
